Do I need to book an unaccompanied minor or bring a parents?

That would depend on the airline. Every airline handles a different age at which they allow people to fly alone without using an unaccompanied minor service. That being said, at 17 youll probably be fine. Only very few airlines require you to be 18 to fly alone, most handle a lower limit. Some airlines even as low as 12 years old. In that case you make a regular booking and you travel as if you were an adult. I dont know which airline you plan to fly, but you can find the answer on their website.
